Changing the boiler involves the gas system and the flue. It must be done by a business qualified for gas systems: do not accept installations done by someone who cannot give you the declaration of conformity.

What you can safely check yourself
- Photograph the data plate of the current boiler, with brand, model, power and year.
- Photograph the flue, both where it leaves the boiler and where it ends outside, on the wall or the roof.
- Note how many bathrooms you have and how many showers are taken one after another: it helps choose the power for hot water.
- Find the system logbook and the latest flue gas analyses.

Before signing, check with your accountant or on the Agenzia delle Entrate website which deductions apply in 2026 for your case and what is needed, for example the type of invoice and the way of paying. At the end of the work we give you the declaration of conformity required by DM 37/2008.
