Emergency call-out in Naples: plumbing, boilers, gas and air conditioning
When a pipe bursts, the boiler stops in midwinter or the air conditioner fails in August, the right thing is to phone straight away. We provide emergency call-outs in Naples and across Campania, on call 24 hours a day, including Sundays and public holidays. Before we set off we tell you the urgent call-out fee, which carries a surcharge at night and on public holidays.

If you smell gas, the emergency is the distributor's, not ours. Do not switch lights or electrical appliances on or off and do not use flames. Let air in by opening the windows and, if you can do so without danger, turn the gas tap next to the meter; then go out and call from the street the distributor's gas emergency line (toll-free number on the bill; Italgas 800 900 999, free 24 hours a day) or 112. With water near sockets or the fuse board, switch off the main safety switch only if you can reach it without touching water.
Recognise the problem
- Water is escaping from a pipe, a hose or the ceiling and will not stop
- The boiler is down in midwinter and there are children or elderly people at home
- The only toilet in the home is blocked and water is rising
- Water is dripping from the boiler or water heater onto the floor
- The air conditioner stopped during a heatwave
- The gas was shut off after a leak and the home has no cooker and no hot water
The most common causes
- 1
Flexible hoses that fail suddenly
An old hose first bulges, then splits: within minutes water covers the floor. It is the most common origin of flooding in kitchens and bathrooms.
- 2
Boiler locked out by pressure or ignition
Many winter breakdowns come from a system left with too little water or from an ignition that fails. Some clear with a simple procedure, others need a new part.
- 3
Blocked drain further downstream
When the blockage is in the branch junction, the joint between your drain and the shared stack, dirty water comes back up from the lowest fixture: usually the shower or the bidet.
- 4
Old galvanised iron pipes
Corroded from the inside over decades, they fail without warning, often at a point set into the wall.
- 5
Storms and power surges
A nearby lightning strike or a sudden return of power can knock out the electronic board of boilers and air conditioners.
What you can safely check yourself
- If water is escaping, close the valve nearest to the fault or the main valve of the home before anything else.
- If water touches sockets, power strips or appliances, switch off the main safety switch (salvavita), but only if you can reach the fuse board without walking through water.
- With the boiler locked out, read the pressure and photograph the code on the display: we need both on the phone.
- Move rugs, light furniture and electrical items away from the water.
- Warn the neighbour below if water is seeping into the floor.
Never open the boiler or the gas water heater, and always switch off the power before touching an electrical appliance. If in doubt, call us.
When you need a technician at home
- The water does not stop even when you close the valves of the home
- You had to close the main valve and the home is left without water
- The boiler stays locked out even after a reset and it is cold outside
- A drain backs up with dirty water in the bathroom or kitchen
- The distributor has shut off the gas and the section after the meter must be repaired

How an urgent call works
You phone us and tell us what you see: where the water is coming from, what the display says, how long it has been going on. If there is something to do right away to limit the damage, we tell you while you are still on the phone.
Before we set off we give you the urgent call-out fee. At night, on Sundays and on public holidays there is a surcharge, and you know it before the technician gets in the car, not at the end of the job.
At your home the technician looks for the cause, explains what they have found and gives you the price of the repair before starting. If the spare part needed cannot be found at night, they make the system safe and arrange the return visit with you.
What an emergency call-out covers
Plumbing and drains: burst pipes, split hoses, leaks that wet the neighbour, blocked toilets or drains when there is no second bathroom. This is work for a firm qualified for water systems, letter D of DM 37/2008.
Boilers and water heaters: appliances down in winter, water escaping from the boiler, pressure rising until the safety valve discharges. Gas parts are handled only by a technician qualified for that type of system, letter E of the same regulation.
Gas: if you smell gas, we are not the first to call. Phone the distributor's emergency line or 112, who make the network and the meter safe. We come in afterwards, to repair the home's system downstream of the meter and issue the declaration of conformity.
Air conditioners: breakdowns in strong heat, split units leaking water indoors. Our technician is F-gas certified, so can also work on the refrigerant gas circuit.
Where we work in Campania
We work across Campania. Most of the call-outs are in Naples, in particular Posillipo, Chiaia and the Vomero, then in the towns of the provinces of Naples and Caserta.
We also reach the provinces of Salerno, Avellino and Benevento. The call-out cost grows with the distance from our base in Parete, in the province of Caserta: that is why we tell you on the phone, together with the urgent fee, before you confirm.
If the fault can wait until the morning or a weekday without causing damage, we tell you honestly. You avoid the surcharge and we book the visit in the diary: for standard jobs you choose the day and time.
Want to know what it is first? Show us
For an emergency the right way is the phone call: you tell us what is happening and we arrange the visit. The video call stays as an extra option, useful while you wait for the technician: we show you which valve to close, where to switch the boiler off, or whether the fault can wait until the next day without causing damage.
Video consultation, up to 15 minutes: €9.90 (€14.90 on Sundays), deducted from the bill if we then come to your home.

Frequently asked questions
Do you really answer at night too?
Yes, our on-call service covers all 24 hours, Sundays and public holidays included. At night and on public holidays the call-out has a surcharge, which we tell you on the phone before setting off.
How much does an emergency call-out cost?
It depends on the time, the day and the distance from our base. You know the urgent call-out fee before the technician leaves. You learn the price of the repair at your home, after the diagnosis and before we start.
If I smell gas, can I call you?
No: phone from the street the distributor's emergency number, which you find on the bill, or 112. They shut off and check the network and the meter. Once the gas has been shut off, we can repair the home's system and give you the declaration of conformity.
Do you also come outside Naples?
Yes, across Campania: the provinces of Naples and Caserta, but also Salerno, Avellino and Benevento. The further from our base, the higher the call-out cost, and you know it before you confirm.
If the problem can wait, what do you advise?
We tell you on the phone. A leak stopped with the right valve or a dripping tap can wait for a weekday: you save the surcharge and choose the time yourself.
What is the video call for in an emergency?
It is extra help while the technician is on the way, for example to find the right valve to close. It does not replace the phone call: in an emergency, call us straight away.
