Emergency boiler repair in Naples
A broken boiler in January, with the house cooling down and no hot water, is a real emergency, especially with small children or elderly people. We do emergency boiler repairs in Naples and Campania at any hour, Sundays and public holidays included. Phone and tell us what you see on the display: we know straight away how to proceed.

If you smell gas near the boiler, the right call is not to us. No switches, lights, doorbells or flames; throw open the windows; if you can reach it without danger, close the gas tap next to the meter; then go out and phone from outside the distributor's emergency number, printed on the bill (Italgas: 800 900 999, free 24 hours a day), or 112. If with the boiler on you get headache, nausea or drowsiness, switch it off, ventilate, take everyone outside and call 112: it could be carbon monoxide.
Recognise the problem
- The boiler is locked out and stops again after a reset
- The display is off even though the home has power
- Water drips from under the boiler or from the safety valve pipe
- The pressure needle reaches 3 bar when the boiler heats
- At ignition you hear a loud bang, like a small explosion
- The radiators are ice cold and the taps give no hot water
The most common causes
- 1
Ignition that fails
The electrode that makes the spark or the sensor that checks the flame gets dirty or wears out. The boiler tries to light, does not see the flame and locks out.
- 2
Pressure lost or too high
With too little water in the radiator circuit the boiler will not start; with too much, the safety valve discharges. The expansion vessel is often involved, the air cushion that compensates for the water as it heats and grows in volume.
- 3
Electronic board or power supply
A storm or a power spike can damage the board, which controls the whole boiler, or blow the fuse that protects it.
- 4
Pump seized after months of idleness
On older boilers the pump that circulates the water through the radiators can stay stuck with limescale after summer. The boiler overheats in seconds and locks out on temperature.
- 5
Blocked condensate drain
In condensing boilers the small pipe that carries away the water produced by the flue gases can clog and, on the coldest nights in inland areas like Irpinia, even freeze. The boiler then stops.
What you can safely check yourself
- Photograph the error code and the boiler's data plate before touching any button.
- Look at the pressure gauge: if the needle is lower than the value in the manual, top up from the filling tap and close it as soon as you get there.
- Press reset once only. If the lockout comes back, leave it alone and call us.
- With the display off, check the main safety switch and the switch dedicated to the boiler.
- If it leaks, put a container underneath and keep cables and sockets nearby dry.
Never open the boiler or the gas water heater, and always switch off the power before touching an electrical appliance. If in doubt, call us.
When you need a technician at home
- The boiler does not restart and there are newborns, elderly or sick people at home
- Water comes out from inside the boiler or near the electrical connections
- At every ignition the safety valve throws out water
- The lockout concerns the flame or the flue gases and returns even after a reset
- You heard a bang at ignition or smell burning

When a stopped boiler is truly an emergency
A stopped boiler is not always an emergency. It becomes one when it is cold outside and someone at home cannot be left in the cold: a newborn, an elderly person, someone with an illness. In those cases do not wait for the next day.
It is also urgent when the boiler leaks water near the board or the cables, or when the safety valve keeps discharging: the system empties, the boiler locks out and the water ends up on the floor.
If instead the home stays comfortable for a night and only the hot water is missing, we talk it through on the phone. Sometimes it is better to wait for the morning and save the night surcharge.
What the technician does on arrival
They read the error code, check pressure, power and gas supply, then open the boiler. Inside there are the burner, the gas valve and the board: it is a job for a technician qualified for gas systems too, like those at Air Tecnology Impianti.
If the faulty part is among those they carry, the repair is finished on the spot, with the price given before starting. At night or on public holidays a special spare part may not be available: in that case they make the boiler safe and come back as soon as the part arrives, at the price already agreed.
If the repair is not worthwhile, because of the age of the boiler or the cost of the part, they tell you clearly. The replacement is then planned calmly, with a written quote.
Want to know what it is first? Show us
The first thing is to call us. If the lockout comes from low pressure, on the phone or on video we guide you through topping up and resetting, and sometimes the boiler restarts before the technician has even left. If it does not restart, we already know which part to check and the technician brings the most likely spares.
Video consultation, up to 15 minutes: €9.90 (€14.90 on Sundays), deducted from the bill if we then come to your home.

How much does an urgent boiler technician cost in Naples?
There is the urgent call-out fee, which depends on the hour, the day and how far you live from our base, and then the repair. We tell you the call-out before leaving, the repair after the diagnosis and before starting.
The boiler broke at night: can I wait until morning?
If the home stays fairly warm and nobody is vulnerable, often yes: leave it off and we speak in the morning. If it is very cold or the boiler leaks water, better to have the visit right away.
Can I press reset more than once?
Once. If the boiler locks out again, insisting does not help and can mask a fault in the flame or the flue gas outlet. Leave it off and call us.
Do you repair boilers of all brands?
We work on the brands most often found in Campania homes, from Vaillant and Baxi to Ariston, Immergas and Beretta, even older models, as long as spare parts exist. No manufacturer has appointed us as its service centre: with a boiler still under warranty, first read what the brand provides.
The pressure is at 3 bar and the boiler is dripping: is it dangerous?
The safety valve is doing its job, so there is no immediate danger, but water keeps escaping and the system is emptying. Switch the boiler off, put a container under the pipe and call us.
