Ferroli boiler service in Naples
Service and repair of Ferroli boilers in Naples and across Campania, starting from the code the boiler shows. We are not the official Ferroli service centre. We are a qualified business that works on boilers of various brands. On Ferroli boilers the letter of the code already tells you a lot, and it is often enough to look at it together on video.
From €110 + VAT about 1 hourCleaning, flue gas check and logbook. Compliance sticker (bollino) is extra

Do not open the boiler casing and do not work on the gas valve, electrodes or board. If you smell gas, do not press Reset and do not touch switches: open the windows, go outside and call the gas distributor's emergency line from there.
Recognise the problem
- The display flashes A01 and the burner stays off
- F37 appears and the pressure gauge reads low
- After topping up, Fh appears and the boiler waits a few minutes
- A03 appears after the boiler has been running a while
- The flame lights and goes out, then A06 arrives
- The code clears with a reset but comes back
The most common causes
- 1
Gas or ignition
A01 and A06 concern the flame: gas not arriving or arriving at low pressure, a dirty or badly positioned electrode, a faulty gas valve.
- 2
Low water pressure
Below the minimum value the boiler stops with F37. If it happens often, there is a leak or the expansion vessel needs recharging.
- 3
Overheating
A03 appears when the water in the boiler gets too hot: the circulator, the pump that moves the water, is not pushing enough or there is air in the system.
- 4
Sensors
The temperature probes and the pressure sensor fail over time. The boiler signals it with dedicated codes, and a reset does not help there.
What you can safely check yourself
- Read the code and note whether it starts with A or F
- Look at the pressure gauge with the system cold
- Check that the gas tap is open and that the hob works
- For A codes, press the Reset button for one second, once only
- If the pressure is low, ask us before opening the filling tap
Never open the boiler or the gas water heater, and always switch off the power before touching an electrical appliance. If in doubt, call us.
When you need a technician at home
- A01 or A06 return after the reset
- F37 comes back a few days after topping up
- A03 keeps repeating and the radiators stay lukewarm
- The code indicates a faulty probe or sensor
- The boiler has not been serviced for some time

Most common error codes on Ferroli boilers
A01, burner failed to light: the boiler tried to light and did not manage. The manual gives as causes a lack of gas, a problem with the ignition and detection electrode, a faulty gas valve or ignition power that is too low.
A03, overtemperature protection tripped: the water in the boiler exceeded the safe temperature. Typical causes are a damaged heating sensor, water not circulating in the system or air in the pipes.
A06, no flame after the ignition phase: the flame starts and then goes out. The manual links it to low gas pressure or to the setting of the burner's minimum pressure, two checks for a technician.
F37, incorrect system water pressure: the pressure is too low, or the water pressure switch, the sensor that measures it, is disconnected or damaged. If the gauge is low the system is topped up. If the value is right and the code stays, the problem is the sensor.
Letter A or letter F: why it changes everything
On Ferroli boilers, codes starting with A are permanent lockouts: the boiler stays stopped until you press the Reset button for about a second. Those with F are temporary lockouts, and the boiler restarts by itself as soon as the value returns to normal.
With an F code, then, pressing Reset does not help: you have to fix the cause, such as the pressure. With an A code you can try a reset, but if the lockout comes back the fault is still there.
In Ferroli manuals the filling pressure with the system cold is about 1 bar, and below 0.8 bar it is worth restoring it. After topping up, some models, such as the DIVAtech D, run an automatic 300-second air-bleed cycle and the display shows Fh. It is normal for the boiler to wait before restarting.
Ferroli out of warranty: how we work
We work on Ferroli boilers as we do on those of other brands, without being the brand's official service centre. If the boiler is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, check the conditions first, because warranty repairs usually go through the official network.
Out of warranty we do diagnosis, repair and replacement of components. In the Naples area a repair generally costs between €40 and €250 depending on the fault. We give you the exact price after the diagnosis and before we begin.
Want to know what it is first? Show us
You show us the display, the pressure gauge and the rating plate. We explain whether the code is a lockout to reset or a fault that clears by itself, and we guide you through topping up the system if the pressure is low. When a part is needed we arrange the visit, with the €9.90 for the call already deducted.
Video consultation, up to 15 minutes: €9.90 (€14.90 on Sundays), deducted from the bill if we then come to your home.

Frequently asked questions
What does F37 mean on a Ferroli?
That the water pressure in the system is not correct, almost always because it is too low. The system is topped up to about 1 bar with the system cold. If the gauge is already right and the code stays, the pressure sensor must be checked.
How do I reset a Ferroli boiler?
Only lockouts with the letter A need a reset, holding the button for about a second. Faults with F clear by themselves when the cause is resolved. If an A code reappears, stop resetting.
A01 after the gas was cut off. Is that normal?
Yes, if the gas was closed or interrupted, the boiler can go into A01 on its first attempt. Once the gas is back, a reset is usually enough. If the lockout repeats with the gas on normally, the ignition needs checking.
Are you the Ferroli service centre?
No, we have no ties with the official Ferroli network. We are a business qualified under DM 37/2008 that repairs Ferroli boilers and those of other brands.
